so what is your favorite non TSC chorus unit from a multi fx?

i *think* mine is the korg.

Eclipse for me. It's stupid powerful all from a 1u box.

The Eclipse is a beast, wish I still had mine. The only 1U boxes that have anything remotely similar going on are the slightly earlier Ensoniq DP/Pro and Sony V77, both sadly forgotten units.

That Cyclosonic is the kind of old school rack gear that makes you feel sounding better just by looking at that front panel love it.

@Dave L , yes the old AMS 1580 rack when fully loaded is basically 2 independent channels = digital modulated delays running into their own pitch shifter, each with its own feedback path but sharing a common / overall internal VCO, with the options to mix the Ins and/or Outs, alter phase between both channels, create loops etc.
There's an even rarer optional separated 1U "keyboard interface / chorus controller", that allows for additional control over the modulation & pitch shifting to get the magic happen; never used that one, but from memory it could make the most awesome subtle to extreme randomized chorus+pitch shifting effect! A Bob Rock's favorite and probably is one of the main "chorus" you can hear on all of the big records he's worked on.

Does the 1210 count as MultiFX? It's probably my favorite analog rack chorus after the TSC.

Hard to pick just one. Just about all of the classic boxes have a great chorus. H3000 or GTR4000 has the ubiquitous micro-pitch-shift. Lexicon 6-voice. 2290 modulation. Pitch Change C or Symphonic from the SPX90.

I think I'd say H3000 because it can be really subtle but still huge sounding.
