I too would like to know about this. I have a silverface vh4 and it came to me with a reasonable amount of finger printage and it's not been too easy to get off. I tried using a tiny amount of 'flitz' but on the small area i used it on, i didn't notice much improvement - which is weird because it cleans frets brilliantly.

We had a bunch of stainless steel plates
which are difficult to clean. I had best
results with spiritus or alcohol. Please
remove the knobs if possible.

No Jack Daniels :gethim:

;)

Yes...if you use Jack Daniels.....
that would be Alcohol ABUSE!!

i wondered the same thing.
the jackass I bought my VH4 from put black marker to mark his knob locations on it.

I was able to get most of it off just wiping it away with some goo gone i think, but I did it very very carefully, trying to avoid all the black paint areas.

My Diezel sounds so good I usually have a hell of a time getting those crusty white stains off of the front.
