I was talking to Jerry about adding a Bais Switch to my Single Rec..but now this has me wanting to spend money I don't have on all of his mods Let's hope he gets back to me soon.

What amp you got modded by Jerry?
i sent my TSL 60 to him about 3 or 4 years ago. i had him do everything he does to an amp, just told him to make it sound as "good as possible". i'm pretty happy with it.
it sounds like it's set up like yours - my lead channel is higher gain, and my crunch channel is more like an old marshall sound.
My other amp is a TSL 60 watt combo as well......(stock) but it sounds pretty decent.
mods made a huge improvement. almost like a totally different amp with the amount of chunk and clarity it has now. could partly be because i've finally learned how to dial it in better or partly because marshall put a shitty transformer on it to begin with lol. it definitely helped it though. some amps can benefit more than others from upgrades i guess.
it was a weird thing - before the mods - the clean channel would kind of 'break up' and kind of distort when you'd start turning it up loud and get a kind of classic rock break up kind of thing, now it stays clean even cranked up to eleven lol. and the crunch channel handles all the classic rock tones lol. kind of a neat side effect i guess i don't know if that was intentional or just an effect from the better transformer and choke or what lol.
but i agree with the other guy in that you should try turning your presence down some and see what that does. i usually leave mine around 2 if not lower lol.

Yeah.....my next project is going to pickup a 3 channel Dual recto and ship it to FJA.
