Controversial gear opinions…….lets hear them.

Keep looking - it is not as interesting as you'd like it to be. Just scammers scammin - nothin new.
Right… & if it is legit I would imagine the deposits are being spent elsewhere rather than being used to float the next project or expedite the process. Couldn’t imagine someone keeping a hard on for that long, & the end results outweighing the wait time. To each their own tho. I’m sure someone out there has convinced themselves otherwise. Then again maybe these things really are Grail status. :dunno:

People defnitely lose the hard on, and their amp and money as well.

Surprisingly I’ve never really liked running a boost either, but for some reason a rectifier like NEEDS one or else it won’t get off its tubby ass..

Pretty much why Carlos Santana came out with his own line of footwear, he's a big MESA guy.

I agree, there a lot of amps that NEED a boost though, to get any kinda tight metal tone.

The most important things to your tone are not sexy:

- Your pick choice
- Your string choice
- Your playing technique
- Your guitar’s volume and tone controls

Here’s some of mine

The EVH line of amps are WAY overrated

All Celestion Creamback iterations suck

Dimarzio’s are worthless unless you are trying to fix a crap sounding guitar.

If you have to boost, then you have the wrong amp.

RFT 12ax7’s are garbage

Modulation always goes in front of amp

OG 5150 is the pinnacle of metal tone

Pick choice has more effect than preamp tubes
DiMarzios are worthless?!?! Boy, them's fightin' words! In fact, meet me at the flagpole after school!

Marshall Silver Jubilee is one of the best amps ever made.

The Marshall Vintage Modern is misunderstood and very underrated.

The Mesa Badlander is really really good as well, records much better than a traditional rectifier.
