Critique my mix (Clip inside)

I think I’m starting to get the hang of mixing here, but wanted outside opinions as I know y’all assholes don’t hold back lol

Bass is a Warwick by Rock Bass into a BAE 1073DMP with various plugins.

Guitar is a PRS P22 (\m/ pickups) into an Axe-FX. Simple chain just the FAS Modern II amp into 2IRs blended. No plugins on guitars at all (use a little delay at the end but from the axefx).

Drums are a Roland kit USB controlling Superior Drummer 3.0.

Vocals is a SN7B into the BAE 1073DMP

I like the main riff and how you introduced variations upon it as the song went along.

Not sure I'd change anything there.
Much better than anything new from Metallickers

All right, who hacked Dino's account? This post is way too legible and straightforward. Has anybody been by his house and made sure there isn't a strange smell coming from inside.?
 
Both sound really good, maybe I'm out of the loop but this is the first mix I've heard that I couldn't tell it was an AxeFX. Diggin it. What's your studio setup like?

This is probably slightly blasphemous, but I'd lower the guitars a little to punch up the drums a bit. But that is purely my own personal preference

Nothing special, just a Steinberg interface into Cubase.

Maaaayyyybeee just a touch more bass- the verses sounded like they needed just a lille more something in the bottom end- IMHO.

But man, that's being SUPER nit-picky.

Fucking love it man.
This is metric tons better than most new stuff out there and I'm pretty critical.
This one had more of a Megadeth/Mustaine thing going on.
Can't wait to check it out again later with my good headphones.
Loved the mid song breakdown/time changes.
Are you mixing down for an album or what is the story with these songs?

Thanks! Yeah, mixing for an album. Singer’s name is Terry Morgan. We’re a new band out in Knoxville, TN.

The balance of the instruments and vocals is very good but the drum tones, mostly the snare, need work. That snare compression is pretty fatiguing on the ears.
