Currently verdict on EVH 412s?

So what the current verdict on EVH 412s? I’m not talking about the iconic. I’ve heard several and got to play a BE-50 through one this weekend and was impressed. I remember reading rave reviews when they came out but some people said they could be a little dark which I’m okay with. It’s why amps have M, T, P knobs. What does RT think?

I have a very early(first year 2007)EVH 5150 III 4x12 cabinet that I use with my modded Rockitt Retro Rockstah Mod 5 and it sounds very good

I think they sound amazing if you are playing mid gain.

If you are playing high gain, there are better speakers for them, but they are built very well and have a single mono input instead of a gimmick stereo

There's a new one on clearance, locally. $450? Not listed on the website, so probably an in-store buy.
I'd pick it up if I didn't already have it covered with a JMP era Marshall 4x12 loaded with UK Greenbacks.
I haven't heard anything but good things about them.
