I picked up a candy green So Cal off of here a few weeks ago and love it. I bought it a day or two before he announced the tele blow out and I almost freaked. The tele is what I really wanted. I will pick one of those up too when the cash allows.

Well thanks to Curt raving about the new production line Charvels Ive finally relented and pulled the trigger and bought a Plum So Cal from Squid Music. I HATE YOU.......No really I do..... Well not really of course

I can't say good enough things about Curt and his shop. Curt is the best to deal with and I truly mean that and Im not just saying that because he is a friend. Now I can't wait to get this sucker and I will give a full review when I get it. Thanks a ton Curt and it was great talking to you today. YOU ROCK!!

And just for the record, It didn't help having DigitalJams and Psychodave rave about these guitars either and I think that Focker Barzini getting one just pushed me over the edge.... I hate you FOCKERS!!! well Not really of course LMAO

I dig the neck on yours Scotty, I'd be all over these fk'rs in a hot MINUTE, but that NON recess keeps me at arms length... Fkn Charvel.. UGH!!!!

Funny thing, Danny and I had my GMW next to the charvel and the GMW neck was thinner than the charvel. They aint like your Suhr but they are plenty good enough for me, just a good honest superstrat at an awesome price

Its the price and the pickguard so I can move electronics around that had me lookin HARD at these things LAST year when Ralph suggested to me Curt was pimpn em, but the Damn Trem... UGH... I need my floyd, and I need it buried... I've tried and tried, but I'm just not comfy... Now, thats not to say I'm not gonna look at Ralphs and see if it's practical for me to recess and and grind me some neck pocket, cause god knows I need yet ANOTHER GUITAR PROJECT TO FKN WORK ON.....

I am with you on the recessed floyds... I prefer them. The distance of the strings and the bodies kills me on the regular Charvels (like I have). This is why I prefer my black strat....but going back and forth between the strat and the Charvel kills my playing. I played my strat for a week straight before the last amp fest and I still played like shit...because I got use to the Charvel. I am not as bad with my Les Paul though...

Wow Dave, Really??!?? I Sold off my LP custom years back cause I couldnt take the transition from my floyd guitars to the tuneomatic... Yeah, I mean, I can PLAY on anything, but to really feel like I can cut loose with any confidence, to pull all the tricks outa the bag, so to speak, yeah, the floyds gotta be hidden away... And, btw, Ive always dug your strat.. great guitar...

Im in the same boat as you Dave. The girlfriend has been out of work for almost a year and Ive been helping her out and I also took a salary hit. The only reason why Im not feeling guilty is because we have been busting our asses selling stuff on ebay and I got a small Christmas bonus. This is my Christmas present I figured that NAMM is a no go, so Charvel here I come

Look, what can I say? You know how if any of you owned a guitar shop you'd be on the phone with your favorite companies trying to get their products so you could have them for yourself? I'm about to buy my 4th new Charvel for myself. I'm supposed to sell these things so I can throw some beans and rice down my kids throats not bring half the merchandise home. I'm a alot like this guy when it comes to Charvels............. and going bald I wonder if Sy would trade a Charvel for a muskrat fur hairpiece like he has?

You guys all suck. I just got the slime green Charvel a few weeks ago. If I was to even joke about getting another guitar with my wife, she would shove a Floyd Rose down my throat, trem and all. I would need to get a Tremolo-no installed just to eat solid foods.

My Wife has noticed me looking at guitars on the PC lately. Watching a couple of Suhrs on ebay. Last Sunday, when I came home from taking my daughter to get her hair cut, "NEW GUITAR = NO PUSSY"
She added this as the screen saver. She put it on my notepad. Sent it to my personal and work email. It was in bold red lettering. I want a Suhr Modern. Someone please talk me out of it. Tell me Charvells are just as good. I do gig my SL2H with Bareknuckle nailbombs in it. My OCD is flaring up and I have nowhere to put it. So I said fuck it, I can't buy a new guitar. I went and ordered two new speakers, a titanium Floyd block, some nut sauce. I was ok until it all delivered. Now I have nothing on order or shipping and I'm freakin out. So what's more important- Having a new Floyd guitar or having somewhere to recess my Floyd. If it wasn't for that thing they have Javaman would have stoned them into extinction.
