Is that every single VHS quality music video, album mastered with a tascam 4 track, and kvlt grim frostbitten black metal aesthetics created by teenagers who take themselves too seriously, has produced better quality art that will stand the test of time (and already has)

Compared to the sum total of every mass manufactured shade-tree mechanic cover band guitarist that thinks creed and nickelback are radical because they "sold so many records"

It's interesting, even in a genre where they are purposely trying to be inaccessible, obscure, and anonymous, they have created more lasting cultural impact than millions upon millions of people who think they know quality in art because the TV, radio, and their algorithm told them
