Tastefully vs. smeared on like a thick glop of peanut butter.

Sammy can still bring it. I liked the Van Hager stuff for what it was, just a different version of the band. I think they had more hits with Sammy and Ill gamble made more money in that era as well.
All I know is that I was the biggest VH fan in the world as a kid, then 5150 was released.I've never been so disappointed in an album before or after... The VH energy was totally gone IMO. It was even worse than Bob Rock getting a hold of Metallica.
Nickelback has a lot of hits and makes a lot of money as well, but I ain't listening to that garbage either.

In addition, how many #1 albums did Classic VH have vs Van Hagar? I have not researched it and am just wondering out loud.....
