Always heard good things about these and wondered if folks are still jammin and enjoying them. I've heard they are plexi based, raw with good cut live, and very daynamic. Also heard they are LOUD!

I may be on the hunt for one. Lack of a loop sucks; I like an onboard solo boost or at least a loop for solo volume boost. I often play in a two guitar band.

I'm in a place where I wanna try everything and I've flipped a lot of amps lately.

Just seeing if these are still prized and what you guys think of them.

Cheers!

Pretty sure Fryette will install a loop and I think the new ones may be coming with one.

Great amp. Moved mine for Sig X which is more versatile IMO but the D60/120 are overall better sounding for all drive sounds.

Cool. I called Fryette to see when those Deliverance II's would be out. Looks like those guys are stupid busy, which is great.

How is the volume taper on these? And how about the differences between the 60 & 120? I presume the 60 is probably plenty loud, but the 120 is more beastly. I'm sure the 60 is beastly enough on its own.

Great amps..articulate and power similar to an SLO. Should've kept my D60.....120 is thicker, more low end. But the D60 has enough low end, kinda modded Marshall in a way..

Loved my D60 when I had it. Only sold it to fund a Metro-Plex. Otherwise I'd still have it. Very articulate and fantastic clarity.

The 60 is very loud, volume isn't a concern. They do sounds a bit different, although both have the beastly element. You should play both if you have the opportunity. I did and chose the 60.

As someone said, Fryette will install a loop for you. I had mine done and the loop is excellent.

had my d120 modded with a metro loop and the more/less made foot switchable sounds great, and cleans up well with your guitar volume knob. I like it better then my cl50

It gets brutal with no boost.

It gets brutal without even pegging the gain but some people want that sizzle/distortion that makes everything easy to play and with that crispy distorted top end of modern metal. While aggressive sounding, the D60/D120 in my opinion has vintage feel that makes many uncomfortable because it makes you work.

have both at the moment...decided to keep the 60 and currently selling the 120, but both sound awesome. Had the Ultra Lead in the past for a few years, and prefer the tone in the D's.

the touch sensitivity in the 60 is juicier, also more saturated, I also feel the 4 preamp path makes the feel more immediate than the 5 preamp 120. Both super loud but the 120 is just beastly thick and open. If my 120 does not sell i'll send it to Fryette to get the updates since my heads are from '07 before they did away with the choke and revisions in the less mode.

have not tried the choke-less version, but i see it more as a cost cut issue than any other thing, supposed to make the amp sound more organic or something, but mine sound awesome and organic as they are ...I always find i prefer chokes in my amps for faster response in palm muting
