All I know its that I saw Ratt after that album was out and they were both using Marshalls. Man, they had the absolute worst sound I have ever heard. The whole group that is. Crosbys signal kept going out and he was getting pissed. Could not hear anyhting Percy was saying...it just sounded like 'wha whah whahwhah' really.

Absolutely the worst band I have seen live. Love their album tones though.

Yea High And Dry is the classic Gibson through a Marshall tone. 'Switch 625' just kicks ass.

I think they changed to Randalls for Hysteria. More gain and compressed but still cool tones.

How dare you not mention Badlands

Or pretty much anything Jake E Lee played on. Ultimate Sin with Ozzy, and both Badlands CD's are friggin great.

He would probably also like Dokkens Back For The Attack. Lynch had a much more aggressive tone and playing on that CD.

And yes, Ratt was one of the worst live bands ever. They were almost as bad as Soundgarden live. Cornell just sounded plain aweful live when i heard him.

i still cant believe it either, mark has gone crazy i guess.
im happy hes listening to ratt because it might open the doors to other great bands. i love dancing undercover and out of the cellar, really i love everything except for reach for the sky, i hate that album and i remember being disappointed the day it came out , as a kid i hated it and i still hate it after all these years.

I like Reach For The Sky. I Want A Woman and Way Cool Jr. are awesome songs.
