Will this be added to media's mass shooter list?
Perp got 6 years (instead of requested 12) for attempted murder of a policeman and within days after release, got a gun and tried it again, putting 2 innocents in ER with life-threatening injuries and shooting into vehicles and houses.
Maybe if we had more restrictive gun laws.....

From what i understand-
It wasn't within days of release, perp was released in January. So several months.
Still fucked up.

Guns don't shoot people. So the blame must go where it belongs. And obviously, the severe (preferably final) punishment must be applied where it will make a difference.

When he was sentenced, the cop warned the judge (after hearing 6 years) "when he gets out he will hurt or kill someone ", exactly what happened. The warped judge, as in many cases, bears a lot of the blame for this one.

Thanks @Robostyle , the news story said he got out last Friday.

I don't know how these judges live with themselves. I've been binge watching " The World's Most Evil Killers" and almost everyone of these mother fuckers were in prison for murder, released and went on to murder more. In some cases a lot more. This one dude in England raped and killed two 7 year old girls. Their bodies were found in the woods, mouths stuffed with grass. The judge gave him a life sentence with a 20 year tariff ( this means he must do at least 20 years - in my opinion life should be life, period), but some judge let him out after 14 years. He went on to rape, torture and murder 21 women. Fucking mother fuckers. There was a time in this world when someone who raped and murdered someone would just be fucking killed by his neighbors. Our government keeps us from killing our own snakes and then they do almost nothing to protect us from them. In most cases they actively try to make it easier for the snakes. Oh, some guy kills some people, my gosh, we should take the guns away from normal citizens. It's literally fucking retarded.

This may win for most retarded comment on RT.

Please tell me this is a joke.

Right? "Without access" doing a whole bunch of heavy lifting ROFL

I can do that too: "If everyone had access to food, we would solve world hunger"

"If everyone had access to capital, we could abolish poverty"

It's a fucking nothing statement

There's shootings all the time here, and it's almost never a lawful, registered gun owner who commits them

Amazing how that works!

Stupid analogy is a stupid analogy.

Do you NOT think there are people who shouldn't be allowed to own firearms? Is that what you're claiming????

Crazy people who are locked up for their crimes and serve a full sentence don't shoot people either.
Exactly. Those are some of the people who I was saying shouldn't EVER be allowed to own a gun.

Hey, you have to take a test, written AND practical to drive a car. You have to be 21 (in lots of places) to drink and vote. There's no LOGICAL reason why firearm ownership should be universal.

No, I'm NOT gonna debate the fine points of 2A. Let's not waste each other's time. There are already legal precedents that disallow firearm ownership for some people. I'm just saying, it's time to tighten up the net and catch the nuts and weirdos.
