I already sent you a PM, but I'll post it here.
Don't get the Diezel if you don't like it from the youtube clips. IMO every piece of gear that I've heard on youtube and did't like I haven't liked it in person. Same if I did like the clips.
youtube makes things sound a bit different but not TOTALLY different.
In you case you mentioned two characteristics yu don't want: compression and hifi....diezel amps tend to have both, that's what people like about them.
The Einstein which you didn't mention, has less compression (in Channel 1 mode 3) and gets pretty heavy. It sounds more raw too... the VH4 and the Herbert have an almost "produced" sound to them, which again is what we like about them.
for what you want, I'd pick the herbert out of the VH4/Herbert, but I'd look at the Einstein seriously.
The Mark is an awesome amp too.
