I dig some of the MIC strats. The neck on some of the the 50's vintage vibe strats feel extremely comfy to me. I'm always scoping them out at stores, I mean, you can't go wrong for the price....great fixer uppers.

exactly..they're a great working platform..it's stable and has some weight to it...tuners aren't loose..frets aren't hanging over the board...and I'm a sucker for the old school head stock![]()
First thing I do is change out the tuners for locking Sperzels. Stays in tune waaaay better.
I haven't found many tuning issues as of yet...I think this has an upgraded nut in it which is probably part of the reason...we'll see how much of a beating these stockers can take....I won't be opposed to upgrading them if needbe
