As we head into the Holiday's and New Year I just wanted to wish all you Splawners a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

:cheers2:

Here is to another year of rockin' and rollin'

Appears Scott is doing just fine based on his FB posts. I posted this in that Metropoulos thread so I thought I'd put it here too. Scott I doubt you will see this but if you do...you are the man!

Scott is still building amps and guitars. I see a new one on his Facebook page every other week or so. He just posted a Sparkle Red SS1 Super Strat. He has at least one employee (a new face to me) to help him build his amps, cabs, and guitars. He makes his own footswitches, guitar holders and even a rack case. He also has a 'Splawn' stage he rents out. A new Competition 50 (which is what I'd buy if I were buying new) is only $1,800. Not sure how you can make a profit at that price :dunno:

I played Quickrods (and a Pro Mod) for 10 years. I preferred the 2006/2007 heads over the ones that came later but I think the most recent ones have a New/Old switch so maybe that would work for me. Would love to get one more QR before I’m done.

I have a fully loaded 50 watt SuperSport that I ordered directly from Scott. I got him to add the solo boost and still retain both speaker cab outputs (you usually lose one of these when you request the solo boost). It's been a work horse I've gigged it non stock for 4 years now.
If I had known how well the gain channels on these clean up, I probably would've ordered the 50 wat Small head Competition, I very rarely use my clean channel, and I would've liked to have that 3rd gear

^ Did you mean 'non stop'?

yeah, if I could have another one it would be a 50w small head Comp.
