Mine is Cornford MK50h.

All I can say about this amp is... inspiring. Most articulate, natural sounding amp I've ever played / owned.
I've done countless posts here on the MK50h. I'm on my 3rd one since 08. And to this day, it still amazes me every time I plug into it.

Why 3rd one? No no.. Not one of those sell for another amp, regret, come back kind of deal. I sold all my MK's because of financial reasons. the 08 one, my car's engine blew. Had to get a new car. Had to sell all my gear. Then I bought an MKIIh in 11 along with a PRS 245. Had to sell the MKIIh again because we broke up with the gf and I had to move to another place. The deposit for rent was killing me. Then a few months ago, bought my 3rd one. I haven't bought another brand/model amp between the MK's. Because I found my tone and I have 0 desire to test other amps to replace it. I do wanna check out other amps to add to collection, but MK will always will be my stable. Infact when I have the money, I might get a Hellcat. I have an orange ad30 that I'm not using right now.

Sorry if this post is a bit masturbatory and deserves a "cool story bro" as a reply. But I just can't believe after all the amps I've owned, I finally stuck with one.

Do you have an amp that ended your tone quest?

I'm a marshall guy so besides the marshall its the Wizard Modern Classic that ended my search for the modded marshall plexi/ clean channel amp. Just picked up a Wigle 69 plexi clone and can honestly say that one is a keeper too.

I had the Cornford MK50II...at the time, tho I thought it was perfectly designed and sounded 'good'.. it was just a bit too open and a clean type of gain..... that being said, I would like to try it again since my ears, fingers, and tastes have grown since then.

That being said, My Gower Killer Kali++ is the perfect amp for me. It can get upper mid tight, metallic, marshall aggressive percussiveness... all the way to a more compressed, softer and thicker but still not scooped and lost in the mix gain structure. My amp can do it all... It's still a Marshall... in all its goodness. My hats off to Dan daily for the amp he built me. Took a perfect platform and made it 30x better.

Yup. Been playing EVH amps since 2007. They do everything I need them to do, and do it well. Haven't had a need for anything else.

However, would like to have a Fortin Cali JCM800, Diezel Herbert, and a SLO. Always found my money would be better spent on guitars though.

EVH 5150 III 100 watt. Its not perfect but its the perfect tool for my playing. Honeymoon is going on 6 months and I still love this amp. It gets gigged every Saturday night. My beloved Splawn Nitro is collecting dust.

The Ultra Lead. I still like other amps, but I don't feel like I'm chasing a replacement sound at all. I just like having different things to screw with. I only gig with the UL though.

It doesn't cover every tone perfectly, but I'm still honeymooning with my Splawn QR! It definitely fills a tone I've been trying to nail for a while.

If I'm being honest, no.
There isn't a perfect tone.
My favorite tones are from albums. There are many variables on recorded tones and one amp cannot capture them.
Truth.
