I found the statement pretty funny (I'm the one who quoted it over on TGP), and I'm an original IIC+ owner. To get offended over it is ridiculous. The things that they changed are things that I totally agree will make the amp more usable! I don't put much stock in those Youtube clips so far, either. Petrucci is Petrucci and it sounded fine, the second one is totally not my style, and the third "rock" guy has terrible vibrato and is just kinda meh. Andy Timmons would be more up my alley, but these amps have to be heard and felt in person regardless.

You have no frikken idea what a loaded DRG sounds like, but you're going on and on about how the JP2C can in fact sound better? I hope you like the JP2C, I'm sure it'll sound better than a 60 w with no EQ - it'll be hard not to.

If you like the JP2C that's great, good for you. Just be honest about exactly what IIC+ your comparing it to. The fact that it's a bare bones model is a pretty important detail, especially to those that have experience with these amps and can appreciate the huge difference between your amp and a SRG, HRG and especially the DRG.
