In all fairness, I did pick up another 2C that was the donor for my 2B Coli/2C+ Coli conversion, and that 2C S just sounded ok. Not bad, but nothing like that first one.
@braintheory just picked up a 2C recently and agrees with my assessment of the first one I had.

Yeah had it for 2 weeks now. Unfortunately I hadn't tried a 2C yet when this thread was made (would've totally advised against the mod), but yeah if anything I wish more C+'s were converted to C's. I really hope not too many more of them go extinct. It's one of my favorite amps

I guess if the OP needed a better loop and prefers a more liquid, silky feel and better leads then it was a good choice, but for aggression, cut and rawness HUGE mistake if I'm being honest
