This is bullshit. They’re cutting 100k jobs and adding 300k to what they call critical function jobs. The kid in the truck next to me just got the email. The VA will get better. And it should piss you off that NBC is trying to scare you and other vets with lies.

I know someone that worked at one of the "top rated" VAs in the US, she said it was fucking insane and only lasted 3 months before quitting and going to work at a normal hospital.
They'd have morning meeting and a nurse would be screaming at her boyfriend on her phone during a meeting of 10 people in a small room and the managers would do nothing about it. Tons of garbage in the halls/rooms that no one would bother to pick up, even janitors that were part of a different area would just pass right by something that would take 30 seconds to clean up wouldn't even if they weren't doing shit with managers doing nothing about it. Doctors/specialists that were contracted from other hospitals to come in never showing up for assignment/appointments and still getting paid $400k a year for doing so.
