That's wishful thinking. The most likely outcome is complete collapse of commerce and something like The Walking Dead without the zombies.

You're still wrong. Unless you are being very literal with the term. As in the Soviet Union was never actually communist. In fact in modern history there has never been actual communists. Closest thing was Native Americans and probably African tribes and other similar civilizations.

And if you don't think the democrats, if given the power to do so, would turn this country into someplace where everyone is reliant on the government and no one is allowed to have more than anyone else, excepting our exalted leaders and their komrades, you might want to pay closer attention.

I have never had a protein cooked in a crock pot that I could not cook better by a different method. They are good for keeping things warm long term like soups, and dips.

Maybe. Deer roast out of a crock pot is just as good as the oven though. They are also good for cooking dinner while you are at work.

I’m being literal, but I’m not being theoretical. Pure communism was never “achieved” in that the government was never dissolved, but certainly USSR and China were communist regimes. They took over the economic means of production. Fascism on the other hand is another form of totalitarian government where the corporate and state interests are shared and executed in tandem, just like we’re seeing today. Yes, many democrats today have a flavor of communist/socialism, but I don’t think they will ever ever ever try to usurp their corporate backers.

It's Insta-pot. Never used one. In reality I rarely see the wife using a crock pot either. But it has it's uses.

Luckily for me my brother in law has a herd of Blackstones and a pair of Kamado Joes and he knows how to use them and likes using them. I ate some killer ribs last night and today for lunch. He has this thing called a "Smo-bot" for the Kamado Joe. He cooks some amazing shit.

As far as I can tell an insta-pot is like a crock pot but 10x faster.

after the madmax period. fall of Rome, there were Germanic tribes, Romans, and other ethnic groups that consolidated for mutual protection against others, and they usually had skills to survive without civilization.

the US doesn't really have that, except maybe race, religion, location, etc., but it's not strong group cohesion. you know who has strong group cohesion? illegal invaders, especially those in gangs, and they're organized, armed, and have money; and when they're large enough they will be the warlords and enforcers, taking from the weak, unorganized, unarmed woke leftists in the cities; police will also have some cohesion, organization, weapons etc., most will be exploited, killed or enslaved.

it will be a new dark age, and many things will be lost, including knowledge, freedom, technology, medicine, ...
