Holy shit look, a bunch of guys that haven't been relevant in 20+ years. Who gives a fuck...
"Haven't been relevant" to whom? What is your parameter for being relevant? 5 years? Maybe 10? Let us know so we all can stop waisting our time talking about "irrelevant" bands. Should we talk about Joe Bonamassa more, because he's more "relevant"? Lynch/Dokken is a big influence for many players here and since this is a rock/metal forum, Dokken/Lynch are going to be talked about....... a lot. I hear TGP keeps it real and talks about "relevant" players more often.

Just saw video clip of the same show (Mr Scary clip) with Don singing and he was terrible

Cool. Seen this on BBM They're tuned low. Vocals don't seem that strong unfortunately. Lynch is world class and still brings it, but he didn't bring his rockstar outfit..lol

I think a huge percentage of bands talked about on THIS board are"irrelevant". Might be time to find a different board?

Dokken is still my all time favorite band. I just wish they had done this years ago back when Don still had his voice.

Don was starting to sound much better after the cancer and vocal surgery earlier this year. He did not have a good night at all for the first reunion show. He looked in better shape earlier this year also. Bummer.....

They look like an average group of guys in their age group...I've got nothing bad to say. I'm older now too, look nothing like the teenage kid who listened to and saw these guys in their prime. Saw this picture yesterday and it was just another reminder of how quickly the years go by. They may not look too impressive as a group now, but they had their day. Kinda cool seeing them together even if it's just a short cash grab gig.

Well said. Yesterday I was a young punk who had no time for old people as I'd be young forever. Woke up this morning to realize in the blink of an eye I'm 49. Time passes quickly and speeds up as you go. No one is immune. Enjoy the ride...

It only took them 3 tries to get "Mr. Scary" right. :D
Mick might look like shit, but he still brought it too.

This one is pretty cool here. Maybe they had Don low in the mix intentionally......

His voice isn't as strong but they sound like a band hitting it hard to do some final shows as good as they can. Good for them!!

I agree, but wish they had done this years ago when Don's voice was in better shape. I would still pay good money to see a reunion show and enjoy the heck out of it.

I'm still convinced Don is the weak link in the chain and the main reason they can't be a productive band. I was watching some of the videos and he just seems like he is going thru the motions a lot of times. The other guys seemed in to it. The other guys also are the ones that have other projects outside of Dokken, playing in other big bands, doing projects, etc.

Like Ratt, who were huge at one point, I don't think younger players understand how big Dokken was back in the 80's. I still feel if they could have kept their crap together and really worked with marketing, they could do a pretty decent comeback tour. I remember in the late 90's when Motley Crue were playing small clubs again and look where they got. Just a shame Dokken will always be a disaster. :)

Don is 63 years old.

RJD was 67 when he last performed in the summer of 2009 and was awesome. Although I did not see Sabbath's The End Tour, Ozzy also at 67 was pretty good from what other's who have seen them said and by some of the YT clips.
