I still have that shirt as well. Also saw Dokken on Tooth and Nail ( they opened for Dio on Last in Line) and Krokus (they opened for Sammy Hagar cant drive 55 tour).
That was it....I saw Sammy on that tour.. thanks for correcting me I thought I saw krokus open for dokken......but must have been for Sammy.

Now, who opened for Dokken??? Man my memory is going.

I only saw Dokken twice….on Breakin the Chains tour (Don played rhythm guitar). They opened for Blue Oyster Cult along with Aldo Nova. Second time was Tooth and Nail. Both times were really good.

Krokus was really good when I saw them. I read somewhere that was the only time they ever toured the states.

Sammy was great that nite also. Really good band too.

Sammy Hagar Can't drive 55 show stands out as one of my favorites. He played for over 2 hours and. Started asking the audience for song requests and played those songs! He had a stairway to the very top of the lighting rig and climbed that and was playing from a catwalk at the top of the arena. Cool show for sure.

That must a have been kick ass
Ratt just was really high energy.....Warren was on fire! I recall Robbin's Jackson stopped working...he threw it halfway across the stage to his tech...they ran out a new one almost instantly

Ozzy....well....that was spectàcular! Jake was at the top of his game, just smoking! Could not hear out of my stage facing ear for 3 days....damn they were loud.

I saw Ratt twice on the Out Of The Cellar tour

Warren kicked ass, small place called the Rainbow Music Hall in Denver. Then at Red Rocks with Bronze and Fastway.

I saw Jake on the Bark at The Sun tour, "pun intended" He was wicked live that night.

My first concert was Dokken opening for Kiss in early 1985. Animalize/Tooth and Nail.

When I saw Kiss in the mid-80's (don't recall which tour) they had King Cobra, who were pretty weak as I recall - wasted several minutes of their opening time with the bass player humping his bass on the drum riser. I would have taken Dokken over them for sure, or Krokus mentioned above, or a bunch of other bands.

Ratt had Mama's Boys opening for them when I saw them (same venue - same year?) and they were really impressive in concert - both bands.
