as soon as i posted this i remembered 'pauls are 24 3/4 scale as well - which accounts for the vibrato i was seeing.

Not only does he use bigger strings, but also keeps the action pretty high too. I know someone that picked up his guitar and had a hard time playing it because the action was high and string tension was pretty stiff.

Doug, Sykes, Lynch and Yngwie are the guys whose Vibrato are the most impressive in my opinion

Oh and love that he uses the Marshall Vintage Modern. Makes me feel like I'm justified for loving that amp.
