Hello fellow Diezel owners!
I am playing my Einstein 50 top with an ENGL pro 2*12 cab loaded with V30's
It plays extremely well with all my guitars, from Fender US Strat to Ltd EC-401, I am pleased with the versatile options and good sound.

Though I have a issue, my sound is missing "something" to be heard properly in the band. We consist of a drummer, at bass player with Ashdown MAG 300 stack, a second guitarist with a US fat Strat and some 50 watt Marshall combo with a very bright sound.
I sorta drown in the mix when we play together... I have tried different EQ techniques: all natural, mid scoop, bass and treble natural with mid on 7-8, Bass natural with mid 7 and treble 7 etc...

I am just plugging the guitar straight into the Einstein without any effects...

Kind regards,

Hi,
I dont have an Einstein - I am a herbert owner.

First tipp I can give from personal experience: use low bass/depth settings.
My Herbert has a hell lot of bass. While it is cool to play alone, it wont help you to be heard in a band.
I am on 11.30 o'clock on bass and on 10.00 o'clock on depth for band settings

Well I have a 100 wtt Einy.Had a custom 2x12 made for ease of transport.I tried numerous speaker combo. When all was said and done,I got an old Marshall Jcm 800b.I changed the cheap particle board back with Baltic birch and went to a basketweave grill cloth.Oh an don't forget to go heavier speaker wire like 12awg.You just don't get the bass bump and fullness.I.M.O. with a 2x12.I even use the 4x12 for quite home practice. The Einy I.M.O has a great master.
