Effects loop popping

Hey guys,

I recently purchased a Butterslax, and I love it. However I am finding that I get a very loud popping noise in the effects loop when i run true bypass pedals. The popping becomes quieter after a few minutes, is this issue to do with something wrong with the amp or is this fairly normal? If its normal would something like a Lehle DC Filter get rid of the popping?

I asked Dave about this, it's perfectly normal. It takes a few minutes for the voltage to stabilize then it goes away.

Yup, Mine does it at first, totally normal. High power in there
Just put your tuner on or mute your signal when you flip off standby.
