Egnater (Rocktron) TOL100 on two EL34's?

Is it possible to run a TOL100 on just two EL34's?

How?

How to bias?

I used to be able to pull 2 tubes in Marshalls with no problems-
Either the 2 inside tubes or the 2 outside,and it seemed like the
bias did'nt take a major tweak either........ If you want to be sure
give Jim at Rocktron a call or Bruce would have the answer,too-

Bias is set to 36mA.

But I don't like the sound of the two Svets Winged -C-.

I think you have to change where the impedance is set.

If you didn't change it, you might be hearing the sound the OT struggling or something, and mistaking that for the sound of the tubes.

When you pull two tubes, I THINK you need to set the OT tap to half of the cab's impedance.

OT/amp = 8 ohm, speaker cab = 16 ohm. for example
