EHX 44 Magnum for Wet/Dry Pedalboard Anyone doing this?

I am using a Morgan MV 45 Head into a morgan 1x12 cab then morgan 1x12 wet cab...

I have a direct out on the head to a flashback, corona and Hall of fame, into the Magnum ( coming this week)..

I assume I could go 100% wet...but would rather have some dry signal in that cab...
I was wondering if anyone else is using the 44 for this.... results ? trick? tips?

thanks

Yup. Works great. I use a suhr ISO line out box to tap off the speaker out.
I like wet only in the second cab for the most part.

I've given a try with a 22 caliber, it was ok but lacked a bit of headroom. You'll definitely need some dry too, with wet only (kill dry on the delay) it was quite disturbing. I've done a thread about that like 2 weeks ago, it might help a little.

I've used an EHX .22 Caliber for this. It is all wet running from the line out, but seems OK for my purposes. Just don't enable kill dry on your effects. A Suhr mini mix would allow you to add some dry into the wet cab.

I have been wanting to try this too... but I fear that soundmen around here will prefer me to go mono. Im looking into the badcat unleash now... so I can stay mono and have my effects post power amp. Only thing is the unleash only accepts your tube amp at 8ohms... wtf I like to use my amp at 16ohms to utilize the full transformer winds etc...

I've done that... I HATE that thing, sounds LAME compared to other available products... Cost not withstanding, I HATE them

What do you like in a similar price range?

I've got a EHX Magnum that's been sitting in the closet for about a year. Bought it to do wet/dry with an amp w/o an effects loop, then sold that amp. Just bought a '69 JMP50, so I was planning on grabbing a line out box and trying out the Magnum. I don't want to install a loop in that amp.

If you already have it, ABSOLUTELY try it.

I don't use anything in that price range, because-- as it turns out-- I prefer the sound of other products that are no where near that price range. That's why I wrote, "cost NOT withstanding".

In the early days-- I made do, with creative solutions too, but knew going in it was only because I couldn't afford what I REALLY wanted. I used to have this Rocktron Velocity 100 power amp that worked, but sounded like ass compared to the amp I replaced it with-- Boogie Simul 395. For me the chase was for the sound, not the deal-- so it took a long time to get to my ideal setup.

The reason I asked is I need to have a smaller unit...no racks...I was going to have it on the pedalboard..

Head, 2 1x12's and the board....

I have a passive fx Loop in the head..(like a Dumble?) well the TC pedals in the loop do sound all that great hence the W/D idea... Would a RJM mixer or MiniMix help with the loop issue? I was told something likeThe Ceriatone Klein-ulator would work...

I was able to confirm with badcat that the unleash will be available in a 16ohm version very soon.. this should end my need for an effects loop between the preamp and power amp. My delay should be cleaner coming after the power amp and sent to the speaker cab. I will be able to say mono and will not have soundman/logistics issues
