Aloha my dear brother from Hawaii!!!

There's any advice for cleaning it?? It has board jacks covered with plastic (like a plastic box). Last time I tried to clean one of that Jacks I spoiled it.

Maybe to spray the connector and fit it in and out many times?

Spray contact cleaner on cable plug and insert into the jacks, while twisting, and pushing/pulling in/out a few times. Don't spray contact cleaner directly into the jacks. That should remove any oxidation that can prevent you from having a good contact between the cable and the jack which can result in the reduced level. Also; wiggle the plugs going in the jacks of the amp selector amp 1 input amp 2 input etc. The jacks could be 'tired' from years of use, and need a nudge or 2.

If it were me, I'd take the amp switcher to a tech and have them look at it. Something is not right with it and IMO, I doubt contact cleaner will solve the issue, although it's always advisable to keep contacts clean...

His trouble is that he's not in a country where he has too much access to the sorts of techs we tend to find in the states.

Good point - still think his trouble is an amp switcher gone bad...

he said he tried 2 other amp switchers and it was the same

seems to have gone weird when he switched mesa for marshall power amp.

If i conenct guitar --> amp switcher (I have in & out head and dry cab connected) --> amp switcher line out to tc2290 --> power amp.

At a rehearsal head amp volume, CAE amp switcher knob at max and tc2290 input max I get only 2 green lights connected (using 1/4" delay input).

It seems that's the amp switcher that is not feeding the delay

This sure seems to indicate the switcher to me, no?

Ive found the issue!! :)

I was the speaker cable from head out to amp switcher. I don't know how could be possible. I get with it a nice dry tone. If I replace it, the tc2290 meter turn on like an Christmas tree :)

Thanks a lot for help!

There is a way to test the functionality of speaker cables?? If I use a MMT and measure both terminals I get a reading of 0 ohms. Maybe it has good connection but signal loss??

I thought it sounded like a connection was the issue. Glad that worked out well.

Hey Zach! How're you friend?

Thanks a lot Zach!!! The cable was totally Ok since I could get a nice Multimeter reading. It was like you said before: amp selector "from amp out" was not clean and was getting not enough signal.
Nothing that couldn't be fixed by contact cleaner!!

Aloha!!!

I'm doing alright. Not gigging, still just running the guitar store. Hope all is well with you. Rig is the same, still LOVING the Cameron Atomica.
