ProTools:

Do you not like Pro Tools?

I use Logic myself, however some might find this interesting as competition to other products in the market. Thanks for your input though!!

Wonder who did the sampling?

Not sure, reading about the ins/outs right now. I was impressed with the work Eleven did on Crue's new stuff. Sounded pretty much like his SLO's from past recordings. I do not know much about it at all yet, just wanted to post in case anybody has interest and had not heard about it.

11 is actually a pretty sweet moddeler, I think if they added efx (digi's AIR has come out with some pretty good efx) then it might be a nice box!

checking out the video, some nice features! it records a dry track along with the guitar amp'ed track, allowing you to reamp very easily! very cool

The box has over 70 effects based on what I have read, or basic effects with 70 different algorithms. I think you can also upload any RTAS based effects into it as well, like Eventide Antholoy, etc.... Sounds pretty cool overall so far.

Should have mine tomorrow. If it performs well, it may be what I've been looking for in a modeler at a reasonable price.

Let us know what you think. I figure your input will be extremely interesting to hear. Did you purchase from Sweetwater? They seem to have had them for a bit now waiting for the announcement.

Awesome man. I think it may just be. I liked 11 much better then most of the other modelers out there, it did a few amps very well. It also did not try to hide some of the quirks and such that a real amp and cab often times can have. let us know your thoughts. I think its a good price for what it offers, specialy integration with PT

Yes, I will. I'm a sucker for these gadgets but at the price and the trial period, I figured it's a no brainer. I don't need or want to have to dig deep into each parameter, just give me a few good sounding/feeling amp models out of the box with real knobs to tweak on the front of the unit. I'll know right away once I dial in a Marshall Plexi low gain through Greenbacks

I've always wanted to be a golf club.

Not bad for the price of a mod

I have my old Marshall JVM headshell for your new vintage plexi model if you need it

The guy I was going to buy the Axe from wants to record a bit with it this weekend and I want to try this first so the Axe trial for me is on hold.

My Ultra should be on its way from Tone Merchants and I am glad I already knew about this or talks of this beforehand. I decided to keep going the Ultra route since it is proven and I had a standard back on 5.x and it was pretty cool then. I have used the Eleven plugins and they are sweet however. I am sure this will take some Axe buyers away, more to be seen after reviews start hitting the streets, etc... I love Logic however and this ties you in to Pro Tools I think for recording, so I am not sure what to think.

However Ultra at $1995 and Apogee Duet at $495, Logic at $399 or This unit at $899 makes me kind of queasy LOL.

So you liked the Eleven plug in's sound? Cool! My Eleven Rack will be here Friday so I'll have the weekend to mess with it. I hear you on the quesy thing. If this ends up sounding and FEELING better than waht I;ve played so far.... it will fit nicely for what I needed it for and I would be saving myself about $900. I dont use PT either, I use Ableton Live. I have different aproach to recording an playing where Live fits me better but it will be cool to have a copy of PT now. I have to thank the Doner for pointing this out to me.

This looks very interesting. I'm seriously considering it since I'm going to PT anyways.

If this thing does turn out to really be "all that..", Line6 had better come out with some real shizzle and quick. I don't think they will be able to just keep recycling and repackaging their crap with the competition in modeling that's coming out and overtaking them fast, and beating them at their own game...

Cool I wonder how good the reamping feature is? I hope it's as good as they claim!

Premier Guitar have posted an online demo & explanation of the Eleven Rack:

I have to admit ..the clips on Digi's site seem to be doing great souding, clean's and blues rock tones..
