Since I have gotten my new computer the YT vids look fine until I play them, once I click play then they turn opaque white and I can't see anything. When on YT directly the vids play just fine with no issues or on any other site for that matter.

This only happens here on Rig Talk.

Is there some type of setting I need to activate or deactivate?

I thought people weren't posting at first loll.

it does seem to be forum related as well as ios 7 device related

other forums aren't as bad with viewing embedding youtube videos like this one is on my iphone/ipad

Try posting it in [UTC - 8] and then turn on "hide my online status". Otherwise you may need to run BBCode in PowerShell scripting mode.

Update Flash player?

I know my flash player is up to date. At least it seems to be something others are seeing as well. The video is there sometimes you can see a light image but they play fine, audio is fine just that opaque display like some kind of filter, it is quite weird.

It is strange that it only happens here on Rig Talk though.

Apple products do not use Flash Player. I been having to quit Safari and reopen it to get it to work.

Try quoting something, and then go back :D
It's a difficult way, but it works for me :)

I was wrong it is not isolated to Rig Talk, it does it other sites as well like Metroamp and TGP. I have Windows 7 mentoneman.
