Well, it makes it a lot more versatile. It seems to have similar options to the Invader, Morse and even the SE, when it comes to switching.pitchwest":396kxu2y said:$3999 CAD preorder with a June release date. Stoked!!
I've had a tough time looking between ENGL's Powerball2 and this Savage mk2. I'm not 100% sure that there's a $900 difference between them both. I don't really care about the second fx-loop or even about the midi.

I wouldn't bother with the Synergy module. While it comes fairly close it is not a 1:1 replica of the Savage's preamp, and you're missing out by not having the Savage's power section. When they come up used, they're great deals though.indespise":1wy86w49 said:Well, a fireball 100 just popped up here in the forum for $1000, which is a steal. viewtopic.php?f=6&t=202633
Personally, if I really wanted a Savage I'd be looking into the Synergy modules unless a good deal on a used one came up.
