I know a family who owns a very large dairy farm.
They always have cows showing in the local and State fair.

They purchased and had installed on of those large wind turbines for electricity similar to the ones you see on the side of a hill in groups.
Damn big!

Anyways, great idea until it broke down.
Don't remember the parts cost and labor, but high enough it will never run again.

I don't see how that pans out for anybody...

Don't get me started on the hail our area has been getting the last couple of years.
Solar panels do not like hail.

My buddy in Kansas has a son who is a crane operator for a wind generator company. They do fail a lot. Takes a lot of lube. And those rotors just get pitched into landfills. They don’t repair them.
 
It’s the same as always. Iran fucks around, gets fucking hammered, shoots a couple shitty missile that do no damage to save face with their subjects and then wants a cease fire.

And it’s stupid to expect they won’t still be belligerent and dangerous. I don’t care how beautiful Trump tries to paint it.

Solar and Wind has serious issues and is not the answer to our energy needs.

There is a 17,000 acre solar farm in NV that produces about 400 megawatts a day.
A coal plant in Monroe MI is on 10 acres and produces over 4000 watts. Consistently 24 hours a day.
