Edwards are awesome. Had 3 of them. They smoked any Gibson I've owned (except for a Firebird V which was super rad).

I don't think so. Someone else commented that they are saying one thing but installing another on those caps. That's super not cool if so.

Thanks for that confirmation. Yeah, the Mallory Poly are in all of the Epis and are part the reason I dislike their sound. I have tried those same caps in like 6 different guitars and they all do something to the eq I severely dislike.

I'm with you. I'll take an Edwards over an Epiphone any day, every day.

I actually have been thinking of dropping. A Gibson Dirty Fingers in the bridge of mine, but the juice probably isn't worth the squeeze over the Duncan Distortions it came with
