Yes, I agree. I bought a blue Axis a few years ago and it didnt look like the blue in the pics..as you say very "aqua" looking

Yeah I was disappointed when I opened up the case and it didn't look like I expected, but they're still awesome guitars regardless.

'91 black EVH. This guitar is now in its case under my bed. I retired it. It's beat to shit from being my main guitar for at least 15 years of constant gigging. I had a hot pink too but sold it like a dummy.

More than I care to admit. I would love to sell most of them honestly. Everyone is broke, including me. I am getting back into playing a bit more, but I really need to clean house and just keep my go to stuff. That all said, I play my EBMM's from time to time. I have mostly been playing my Heritage 157, my Charvel, and a V that I built from parts. The V the most because I dont have a case for it, so its always out ready to go.

How would you describe the before and after once you installed the FUBB on the Axis? I'm thinking of getting one

Since this is mostly a guitar forum, I probably won't get shot for saying this, but:
I'm not a fan of their basses.

Don't get me wrong. They are nice. They sound great. They play great. I just don't like the feel of them. I never played one that made me happy (in the pants).

More sustain, and smoother after the install. The guitar resonates more as well. I installed it when I put the OFR on it. I felt it was worth it enough with the axis that I did the same with the Y2D.
