It honestly blows my mind that there isn't a fixed bridge dual humbucker M. That seems like the ultimate no-brainer.

He has like 20 different versions of his strat varient what more can they offer other than a Bich body to be different or have something new that kind of has a history?

I like the headstock change for that model, but nothing else there really excites me. I don't look at ESPs for pretty woods generally.

They can't. Besides, there are not many of his ESP variations that you can order. If you are gonna do that artist stuff, better do something that they actually play on stage so people can relate to it. No use in copying a guitar that has insignificant history value. I'd rather see them put more variation in the M-series.

Well, one thing you can't take away from them is that ESP craft some f*ckin' sweet guitars, and their quality control and craftsmanship is pretty hard to beat at their pricepoint - it's flawless. So - it is what it is, I'm an FR-II and an NT-II owner for my shredders, and I'm setting aside cake for an NT-7 Good guitars, and I'd say Ibby is just as good, but ESP is the answer to those who don't 'do' bolt ons.

Kinda dig a few of them but so far the only one thats on the Buy list is the AW7, Could care less about Whitechapel as a band but that guitar just does something for me. And its been awhile since i had a 7 string

I helped design the AW-7 with Alex. We really spent a lot of time going over past and present ESP guitars (both US and Japan models), as well as what players have wanted and complained about not getting over the years (specifically people on Sevenstring.org). This lead to a an ESP with no inlays, hipshot bridge, passive pickups, really great ESP LOCKING tuners and a color other than black. Everyone seems to be pretty excited about it! He has been playing the prototype for a few weeks at rehearsal and really digs it.
The neck is based off of the NT-7 neck (no baseball bat action haha).
Here is the final rendering we sent ESP, just so show you how close to the final product we got:

Maybe Hannemen actually wanted them to make it, he just forgot to clear it through RT first. Who cares, it's just another model they make...nobody has to buy one. They probably ran it by him at least, since it has his name on it.
