Why don't you guys just say you work for Evertune
I'm sure it's a good product, but I can play for hours without having to retune on a well set up guitar.
Umm, just because I like something doesn't mean I work for the company
Having gigged with it a few times now, it's amazing how quick you take for granted that you never have to tune up, no matter how hot and sweaty the gig gets. And I would say that the thing I've really noticed the most is just how much more 'in tune' everything sounds - any slightly awkward chords that you know you don't quite fret properly, or octaves high up the neck that sound a bit out unless you're perfectly tuned-up, just now sound right every time. The review in Guitarist magazine said that everything just sounds so much more musical when you're playing it, and they're right.
You guys who don't like the idea are completely correct in one way - you haven't got to use it, and people have been playing and recording for years without it, but that doesn't mean it's not an awesome bit of kit, and a great innovation. It often amazes me how reluctant guitarists are to accept new things.
