I discovered today that I have a lot more endurance on my cornet if I use a Conn 7 mouthpiece vs the shallower, wider yamaha 11c4s I've been using. I'm still trying to figure out why that is. My son went out to the orthodox monastery this morning and bought me a couple cans of incense. This seems like a good time to go burn some of it.

I looked around the room and I saw him, I'm in his house okay? He charged me, So I murdered him. Of course, I mean that wasn't a thing, nobody or nothing was a challenge really, I was so powerful I could go into the Mages Guild and instigate a fight with the whole entire house of witches and I would kill them all easily at the same time, I only had trouble with one particular thing.

But the guy I murdered, I'm looking around his house you know seeing what he's got, if he's got anything of value to take. I see on his table he's been reading something, it's like the absolute basics of trying to learn ABC's.

A cornet is a predecessor to the modern trumpet but has a softer, mellower tone with a shorter, more compact wrap. 4 more days and I'll have a year into playing it. It's a lot of fun, albeit challenging. It's a nice break from guitar since I can only play about 3 hours daily without developing some forearm pain.
