Done a million times but fun to see the subtle use of each effect brought in and out and a tasty jam at the end. Yes there are 10 guys who could play it better but this was fun anyway and I like that subtle chorus that a Flanger set low can do. Prefer it to an actual chorus most times. Also, I love my GE-10. So good with a Marshall.

Less talking and more playing might have been better but the video shows what the original signal chain brought to the table. Anyone truly interested in this tone needs to watch this video and take notes.

Good Vid Kapo!:2thumbsup:

Lincoln is a monster player and they nailed the tone. I get the Mason hate from the wah debacle, but honestly i'm over it and he does some cool stuff now.

Mason sure got the right guy to demo his pedal board.

The one pedal I would charge on that pedal board that would be the boss ge10 Edward got that pedal in Japan June of 1978 during the 78 tour and the last time he used it was The Day on the Green concert in July 78, I would replace the Boss Ge 10 with the MXR 6 band eq that’s the eq he started with. During the recording of Van Halen II the Boss Ge10 was never used but the MXR 6 band was.The black and white photos that you see the boss ge10 are from the 78 Japan tour. The 1978 Van Halen tour started march 3,1978.
