EVH 5153 FX Loop Always On mod?

Does anyone know if there is a fairly easy way to set the FX loop to be on w/out having to connect the footswitch?
Specifically I have the EL34 Stealth version.

every 5153 I've owned (original 100w, 50w 6L6 and EL34) had the loop on as default, without the FS. Granted, I've never owned the EL34 Stealth but I'd be surprised if it's different for that one model.

I never even plugged the footswitch on my current one (using MIDI for channel switching) and the loop is always on...

I'll have to check again, but I could swear when I tried running it 4CM with my GSP it didn't work until I connected the FS and turned on the FX. Hope I am wrong! It would make sense to be on when no FS is connected.

Yeah my 50watt is on by default.

Yes, confirmed...I am a dope. Fx on when no FS connected. Good to go.
