EVH Music Man floyd question...problem

When I had my EBMM EVH, I tool the original trem off and replaced it with a chrome Gotoh FR. The EBMM one is just a relabeled Gotoh anyway. I put the original in the Gotoh box and left it there until I sold the guitar.

I thought of doing that but if there's something wrong with this bar, it'll suck.

Can I ask which gotoh you replaced it with?

Looks like Ernie Ball "might" have the replacement parts I need so we'll see what happens. The bridge and block are fine...I just want to replace the saddles, string lock inserts, etc...

The Gotoh Floyd Rose. Do an eBay search for Gotoh Floyd Rose. I believe they only have one model.

Make sure they send you the right saddles. I ordered some before from them for the EVH and they sent me regular non-offset saddles which won't work. Plus they were $25 each...

I'll check but I thought I saw a few models.

Really? They're checking to see what they have left for the EVH trem. If they want $25 for them, I may just get what I need and not replace all. I did figure out that the arm holder was broken...it was missing a piece which is why the arm clamp holder wouldn't mount to the bridge. I'll be getting those parts too and possibly a new arm. They sent me a diagram of the gotoh from the EVH with part numbers to choose from so hopefully it's correct.

So it looks like they have all the parts I need BUT the saddles...guess I'll make do with the originals...they aren't as bad as before I cleaned them up. All together it'll run me about $80. Wondering if I can just get the saddles re-chromed....

The cheapest place I found recently to buy Gotoh 1996 Floyd bridges is Mojotone.com. The item number is 2113496 in chrome for $113. Mine came in last week.

I'm not sure that will work on an EVH without alteration? I'm trying to save the original. It still functions fine but it just needs some new parts...just placed my order. Thanks for the info!
