EVH Stealth 50w 6L6

Yeah the launch on this one has been really strange, no specific NAMM videos or official video from Fender/EVH yet on this one. Sweetwater’s web site says they are coming this month.

I’m really interested in this one, although I’ve tried EVH amps in the past and they’ve never stuck with me for some reason. It’s seems like the ultimate evolution of these with the voicings fixed up, bias adjust on the back, nice all black styling, good price and form factor (the full size one requires your own roadie )

I’ll be snagging one of these when they hit the used market for sure. EVH gear is always crazy cheap after the buzz fades. I loved the 50w 6l6, and full size stealth.

I actually swapped out them for some JJs in my full size stealth, takes a way a tiny bit of the aggressiveness and adds some bass imo (not that it really needs more bass lol).

I've been using Shuguang tubes for years, but also have never had much trouble with JJ power tubes. Still, I perceive Shuguang has has an edge on reliability, low noise, EQ balance, and smoothness overall.

I bought one but I preferred the blue channel on my original 50 watt 6L6 so I sold the stealth.

I tried to buy one that was for sale on TGP 2 weeks ago. Messaged the guy and said I'd take it at his asking price. He never responded. It's still up for sale on TGP as of yesterday and the price is $50 higher - if anyone wants to deal with him. lol

I’ve had mine since April. We got the first batch of 5 of them up here early. Love, love and love it!
Fantastic sounding amp all through the channels. It just sounds fatter and meaner than the other 50 watt versions. I’ve had several of them since they came out. There is no mid-honk in it at all. I paired it up with the matching EVH 212 and installed some side handles on it, some batting on the rear baffle and took out one of the H30s and replaced it with a V30. Tons of clarity and bottom throughout with that combination.

I'd like to ditch my 4x12 and get (2) 1x12 matching cabs and the head.
