EVH Striped series. Have any of yall ever seen this sticker on back of headstock?

Pretty sure it is legit but wanted opinions from Rig-Talk. It is a 2014 serial # so it is an earlier one. I've just never seen a "Made in Mexico" sticker or whatever it is like that.

If the serial checks with Fender, it’s probably OK. You could send the pics to Fender and see what they say. I have good luck emailing Gibson about verifying guitars.

The Mexico thing doesn’t seem to bother anyone anymore. The new standard P basses are made in Indonesia and China. I sold a Mexican P bass for $700 this morning that my old man paid $300-ish for new less than 10 years ago.

Made in Mexico doesnt bother me. I've just never seen it stamped on the back of the headstock like this.

I didn’t sell it because it’s Mexican. I sold it because P basses suck. Admittedly though I don’t own any Mexican Fenders.

I was just surprised at the prices of them these days. Tariffs aren’t helping either.
