External preamp thru Herbert poweramp?

Has anyone here tried this combination? I'm just curious to try XT Pro thru the Herbert's poweramp. How should I wire the connections or shouldn't I?

Yes no problem. Run it either in you serial return or your switchable return.

You still need to connect a cable to the Herberts Input, otherwise the amp is muted.

Yeah, last time in the studio, we tried a DIY preamp of a friend of mine through Herberts Loop, and we were checking and checking, becuase there was no sound....until he said "oh...doesnt the Diezel need a dummy-input?" - TATA! And then there was sound...
