They're in my top 3 favorites of all time and I couldn't come close to picking a favorite album. That's the one band where I love almost every song they put out equally, almost. Huge Patton fan overall, Bungle, Tomahawk, Peeping Tom, Mondo Cane, the new Averett (sp?) brothers, Fantomas, that one Dillinger album, etc.
Never got the idea the dude was high on his own farts though, if anything it was the opposite with him thinking celebrity worship was dumb from the very start. All that GG Allin influenced shit/piss play onstage was him highlighting to the audience "You're clapping for someone being a fucking retard, you retards". While I'm bummed I never got to see FNM live, it doesn't take a genius to understand why they don't tour or do anything else; Patton doesn't seem to be a fan of doing the same thing over and over, even if it's going to give him a financial windfall.
FNM is the only band he's toured in that if they DON'T play a song live, someone in the audience will be bummed, in every other band he's done they could go out and play entirely different setlists every night without pissing anyone off.
