Is it just me or anyone else think that Faith no More's angel dust CD in particularly underrated.

I love that CD so much it gives me chills, it's kind of holy like. Lyrics are fucking otherworldly, the music is fantastic and some of the things Mike talks about hits fucking hard. Love it!

What other CDs do you think that's out there that fall in that category as well?

I like the real thing more than angel dust.
 
Funny thing is that I've listened to both "The real thing" and "Angel dust" today while driving. I would add Live at the Brixton academy to complete the trilogy.
These three albums are perfect.
I used to like AD even more than TRT, but lately I've been liking them equal.
Jim Martin was so good, and so perfect for the post! His work in From out of nowhere, Epic, Surprise you're dead, Woodpecker from Mars and Zombie eaters are just timeless!
They've done decent albums after that, but they'll never, ever again, be able to make another TRT and AD. And the main reason is simply because they no longer have Jim.
The good part is that those albums are available, so we can enjoy those masterpieces!
 
Faith No More is my favorite band ever, so I could sit here and write a book about what I think about their albums, but I will rank them in my personal order by favorites.

That order makes perfect sense to me.
 
I frickin LOVE, album of the year!
Somebody up top is bagging on those those years albums whatever, but I think the ones released during that time were and are awesome. Not my favorite but I loved the guitar work and tones. On album of the year. And Mike, of course kills it, Billy Gould amazing, Mike Bordin slamming the fuck out of it as usual, Roddy Bottum fantastic as always, he for me always had such amazing textures and sounds behind the band that I don't know behind Mike I'd have to say that guy is the coolest fucker then Jim Martin and the other dude. Next guitar player Jon. Follower by Billy Gould, then Bordin. Strip Search is the closest on there for me to being chills and religious type awe. I think I'll go back and listen to that album again with my headphones, which if it can't get done with that synergistic unbelievable setup I have nothing will on that album I bet

Mine is pretty much the same, but I was jamming out Introduce Yourself a lot when I was younger. I would put that one at #4, but it's nostalgic for me.

I always go for "Naked in Front of the Computer". I'M SENDING IT BACK TO YOU!!!!!!!!
 
As time passes I find I prefer the Chuck era, but perhaps I let Mike's pretentious skulduggery get the best of me there.

However, I definitely prefer Big Jim era to what followed.

King For A Day Fool For A Life Time sucked!
Album Of The Year is fine again, but of course not the same.
