Anyone play/test out a fanned fret guitar? What do you like/not like?

The low notes sound tighter and deeper. Upper fret access is better than standard. I like everything about them. I own three currently. A 6 and 2- 7 strings. The only thing not to like is it takes a few to adjust to the angled nut hitting your hand. Once you do, you wont know it's there.
Mine is 26.5/25.5.FourT6and2":kqw6oa3l said:glip22":kqw6oa3l said:I took a chance on a Fanned 6 after talking to a dealer who's played 1,000's of guitars. It's not hard. It just feels awkward at first. Doesn't take long before you wont even notice![]()

Forgot his name but there was a patent. It expired which is why anyone can utilize them. Google will tell you what you want to know.mlamuth":a4w4ot55 said:Curious, who developed the first fanned fretted guitar? Is there a patent on it?
