My EVH went in for service. I shorted out something when swapping preamp tubes.

Having no amp at home, I feel lost. Haha. Was thinking about grabbing a Bogner Red or something and plugging into Mbox Pro and trying it with IR’s just to practice.

Get a BOSS KATANA MINI. Great little amp for reasons like this.

Boss Katana mini would be cool for sure. Or a Mooer micro preamp pedal. You could use it with your computer and when you get your amp back you can plug it into the effects return and essentially have another amp.

I have so many amps now, I'm out of space in the house and don't mind my tech storing a few for me and getting to them when he gets to them. Good problem to have. The '72 Marshall 50w I got on Wed. is an absolute fire breather.

Just ordered the mooer micro preamp #5 off Amazon. Thanks BubbaStain...never woulda thought of one of those. Checked out some YouTube vids. That one sounds damn good to me!

Cool man. I have the 001(Diezel) and the 009(Engl) and think they are really cool. I do like the 001 a bit more though since it’s a bit more modern sounding.

Got the 005 on sunday. played it for 10 minutes before I went to work...but had time to sit down more tonight, mess with IR's and even a precision drive boosting it. my lord i am more than happy for the suggestion Bubba! this little devil jams. No regrets buying it. and the best thing is its got a clean and dirty channel and it remembers your settings when flipping between the two. I'm impressed and I don't spend a ton of time tweaking. Set it and go....i just had to find my sweet spot with it first.

Yeah, the cab sim isn’t bad at all, that said I use it through Wall of Sound or Impulsive.
