Hi guys, anyone knows if a 2007 Yngwie Strat neck would fit in an American Series body (2010 i believe) without any modifications?

Thanks!

Never tried on an American series, but have on vintage reissues and it fitted fine. Make sure you have the YJM neck screws as they are specifically made for the YJM necks 2006 and up which have the metal inserts. My gut feeling is you won't have a problem with a true Fender body.

Call me ignorant, but why wouldn't you just buy a scalloped Warmoth neck?

For future reference, did it fit alright?

Hey man.

I didnt win the auction sadly, it was on ebay.

I think it was sold for $600 or something like that. Also, i ve been reading a lot of good things about Warmoth, but ill have to check if its in the price range.

If you're looking for a Strat neck, Musikraft is the way to go. I like Warmoth a lot too, but for re-creations of Strat style necks, Musikraft is the best.
