Cool, long video skimmed through it a little bit. I haven't heard that name in a long time, I remember he hit it pretty big back in the 90's and I bought the CD, but could never really get into it. He was great, I've just never been that much into blues based stuff (sacrilege I know). But still cool and I can appreciate it.

I saw him here where I live in a small club. I think there was maybe 75 people there and we could get up real close. He was cool and is an amazing player. It is like he "IS" music. Doesn't have to think about anything - just does it. Incredible feel and way more in his bag than blues rock standard stuff. He did some cool stuff in terms of songs and transitions and covers too. He is a guy who, (talent wise) deserves to be mentioned with the greats in guitar playing but people don't talk about him a lot.

Funny - my profile pic was taken in the same club LOL. I just realized that. Of course I was playing a 30th birthday party and my playing was not worthy of gracing the same stage as Eric Gales hahahah

I wish I had 1/10 of the skill he has.......

Yeah I am not a blues guy. I remember the first time I saw anything about him it was a live clip and I was like, "Why the hell doesn't;t he just get a lefty guitar???" then I realized his things are also reversed. Crazy. Like said above, due IS music. Tasty player that I never think about til someone posts something, then I am like "Shit, I need to listen to some EG!" LOL!.
