Thin or thick pick for high gain & pinch harmonics?

I like a .88 for pinch harmonics, especially on the higher strings. Something about it just sounds & feels a little more natural to me.

I like 1.14 mm for heavy rhythm chugging & fast lead playing. I can play pinch harmonics ok with those too.

Can anyone name a guitar hero that uses thin picks? I really want to hear an example. Control is consistent and thick pics don't bend.

I've used Jazz IIIs for years. Gotta have the Max Grip. I liked the carbon fiber with the max grip, but lately have been going through a 25 pack of red w/max grip.

I've used a variety of picks for the material, for different tones and purpose. My #1 pick is the top-left Jazz III XL, there was a time that Dunlop black ink
would smear then I moved to the top-middle Black pick same size .73 then the pick top-right "Hawk Pick" 1.0mm I like for Clean picking style guitar.
The three on the bottom left, I've been using since 1980 long standby, the Gator pick 1.14mm I like for Bass almost sounds like fingers style, Ultex sharp.

The type of pick doesn't matter. I could use a rock or a butter knife and make it work.

Tried the Tortex years ago, found them kinda scratchy sounding.

Fender Extra Heavy is all I use.
